Ambo Dance Theatre Premieres “Kentucky NACHMO Dance Festival” in Louisville

Louisville, KY – This March, Ambo Dance Theatre presents its 5th annual Kentucky NACHMO Dance Festival. This mixed-bill production features twenty-three new works of choreography, all created as part of the National Choreography Month (aka NACHMO) January Challenge. Performing at The Henry Clay, this dance festival gives dancers an opportunity to choreograph and to get their work presented in a professional show. With showtimes spanning March 7-8, audiences of all ages are invited to enjoy a full-length two-act show that’s as entertaining as it is inclusive.

The Kentucky NACHMO Dance Festival is a varied production featuring dancers from Ambo Dance Theatre’s professional companies, local performing arts organizations, and independent choreographers from Kentuckiana and the Midwest Region as part of two Professional Concerts. Additionally, talented local students take the stage in a student matinee performance, providing accessible professional development opportunities and experience for Louisville-area youth. Tickets are $25, with Pay-What-You-Can options available to make this family-friendly event accessible to all.
