Basil Hayden Culinary Tasting Experience
Gather around our table for a curated whiskey & small bite pairing experience. (New Experience starts March 2024)
As you climb the stairs of the historic Baker Beam Home, listed on the National Registry of Historic Places, you’ll pull up a chair and join us for a whiskey and small bites tasting featuring Basil Hayden® Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This curated experience includes a sampling of four Basil Hayden whiskey expressions alongside artfully prepared culinary creations developed by our Executive Chef at the James B. Beam Kitchen Table Restaurant.
Built in 1911, the Beam family has called this house “Home” since 1934 – the year Jim Beam’s son T. Jeremiah moved in to oversee the rebuilding of the distillery after Prohibition. Before then, the building had been used as a boarding house for railroad men, coopers and government distillery gaugers.
