We have noticed since we arrived in your fair city that as one holiday ends, another begins, and this one we greatly look forward to celebrating with you.

This Sunday for Mother’s Day we offer Blooms & Bubblies from 10am until 2pm, a brunch sort of day of sampling bubblies and assembling bloom jars, or simply sipping something lovely in peace and enjoying your day.

For whomst is this for? Everyone. We invite you to come by yourself and celebrate mothering and the ways you mother or the ways you have avoided it successfully; celebrate with others; celebrate the parent or person in your life who mothered you or the ways you carried yourself. We have met many of you and either someone else did a fine job making you into a person, or you did.

Enjoy the day and we invite you to please RSVP if possible at the link in our bio (not necessary but we have found it quite helpful – bloom jars $35 and include free sampling glass and sampling glass can be purchased separately, event is all ages, drinking alcohol is not).

For those having a traditional week who would like to not be, how do you all say it, “behind the ball” (?sports?), from 4-6pm this Tuesday and Wednesday we will be hosting a Sip&Shop Happy Hour during which you can sample our wines, buy bottles, and all books will be 10% off.

We look forward to a lovely and send prayers to many entities for an ENTIRELY LESS SOGGY WEEK but we shan’t get our hopes too high, and thank you as always for joining us.
