We invite you to join us for the opening reception of “Fur, Feathers, Fins, and Scales – A Solo Art Show by Sarah Tidwell” from 6pm-9pm on Saturday, August 3rd!

Sarah Tidwell is an acrylic painter and digital artist based here in Louisville, KY. Known for her whimsical style and unique use of vibrant colors, her use of ombre color palettes adds a sense
of depth and dimension to her work, creating a dynamic viewing experience. Sarah’s work also captures the influence of her love and admiration for animals. She frequently features wild,
domestic and even mythological creatures and foliage in her work, often showcasing their unappreciated beauty and symbolic significance.

Through her art, she seeks to also ignite a sense of empathy when it comes to animal rescue. A passionate animal advocate herself, she has embarked on many illustrative projects to aid
rescue organizations in fundraising efforts, fosters homeless animals almost continuously throughout the year (thanks to the grace and tolerance of her husband) and uses her garage as a safe harbor for strays on their way to the shelter.

At the opening reception, those who bring a bag of dog or cat food, or a bag of cat litter, will receive a show exclusive print for FREE! The Donations of dog and cat food/litter brought in on that night will be given to Woodstock Animal Foundation and the Shamrock Foundation to aid in providing for the many litters of puppies and kittens pulled from the streets and the shelters this year.

We could not be more honored and thrilled that Sarah chose to have her solo show here at Grady Goods! We are HUGE fans of her art and her wonderful and giving family. In addition to being an amazing artist, Sarah is a real-life Dr. Dolittle who has an almost supernatural connection to animals in need.
