Louisville City FC will welcome LaLiga’s CD Leganés to Lynn Family Stadium at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 12, for the club’s first-ever international friendly against Spanish competition.

Leganés is based in the Community of Madrid, just outside the Spanish capital city. Nicknamed Los Pepineros — or the Cucumber Growers, in honor of the city’s agricultural history — Leganés is playing the 2024-2025 season in Spain’s top tier after claiming a second division title last year.

This exhibition adds to a summer calendar at Lynn Family Stadium that also includes a Saturday, July 26, friendly between the German Bundesliga’s Eintracht Frankfurt and English Premier League’s Aston Villa. LouCity will also face Frankfurt on Tuesday, July 29.
