Press Release:
Louisville, KY – Louisville Roller Derby is excited to announce its upcoming double-header on Oct. 4, 2025, at the Triple Crown Pavilion. This highly anticipated event is part of the team’s 20th anniversary fall home season.
The Oct. 4 event will feature two thrilling matchups, and doors open to the public at 4 p.m. Louisville Junior Roller Derby will kick off the event at 4:30 p.m. in a showcase against Vette City Junior Roller Derby.
Following that, Louisville Roller Derby’s Bourbon Brawlers will take the track at 7 p.m. for a high-energy showdown against Vette City Roller Derby.
“We’re thrilled to be closing our season with two games at home here in Louisville,” said Vice President of Louisville Roller Derby Hanna Woods, known as Jennifer Cruelidge to the league.
“We spend the majority of our season traveling across the region to compete, so it means a lot to us to be finishing this season strong in front of our hometown fans who have been supporting us for the last 20 years.”
This event offers fans the chance to cheer on Louisville’s only flat-track roller derby league in a family-friendly atmosphere, fostering a sense of community engagement.
Fans will be encouraged to participate in activities like voting for fan favorites, with proceeds benefitting the Kentucky Health Justice Network, a local 501(c)(3) focused on reproductive and gender-affirming healthcare.
