Make Your Own Plant Pot Pottery Class | Pottery with a Purpose
Are you a plant lover? Always wanted to try your hand at pottery? This class is perfect for you! It’s your chance to finally learn pottery, and to sculpt some handmade gifts or handmade home décor.
Our expert teacher will cover all the basics, and with step-by-step instructions, you’ll learn to handbuild a pinch pot and how to transform it into a variety of functional pottery pieces like a vase, hanging planter, smiley planter pal, and more.
Plus, take home a plant from a selection curated by Above the Dirt!

Saturday 1/25 from 1-3PM at Above the Dirt Garden Shop (10104 Taylorsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40299)
Each ticket includes:
- 3 inch plant from a selection curated by Above the Dirt
- 2 hour workshop on pottery basics, how to create pinch pots, coils, and how to transform them into a variety of unique home décor and functional pottery
- You’ll make and take home up to 2 pieces of pottery
- Our signature ‘Beginner Pottery Kit’ which includes everything you need to make your pottery during class (and yours to take home to create more after class!!)
