Louisville, KY – This December, Ambo Dance Theatre presents its annual holiday spectacle, The Graham Cracker: A Nutcracker Parody, a hilarious, heartfelt twist on the classic ballet. Performing at Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Pamela Brown Theatre, this vibrant, LGBTQ+-affirming reimagining explores the story behind Clara’s journey of self-discovery and the beloved treat, the s’more. With showtimes spanning December 6-8, audiences of all ages are invited to enjoy a full-length two-act show that’s as entertaining as it is inclusive.

The Graham Cracker is a lively production filled with memorable characters, from Clara’s family and friends to star-crossed lovers Chocolate and Marshmallow. Featuring dancers from Ambo Dance Theatre’s professional companies alongside talented local students, this year’s production also marks the debut of a student matinee, providing an interactive and accessible dance experience for Louisville-area youth. Tickets are $35, with Pay-What-You-Can options available to make this family-friendly event accessible to all.

This year, the show is supported by funds raised from Give for Good, which allows Ambo Dance Theatre to deliver an immersive experience in a premier venue and expand its creative reach.
