Six weeks to learn, throw, glaze, and grow—take home up to 6 finished ceramic pieces. (4/21-5/26)

Welcome to six weeks of clay-covered hands, spinning wheels, and creative fun at Loopy Dough.

This course is designed for beginners and returning students who want to slow down, get a little messy, and build real skills on the pottery wheel—no experience needed.

All materials are included (clay, tools, firings, and glazes). Just bring yourself and an apron if you’d like one.

We meet once a week for 2 hours, with each week building on the last:

• Week 1: Studio intro, clay prep, and wheel demo—meet the wheel and make your first forms
• Week 2: More wheel time! Practice, repetition, and getting comfy throwing
• Week 3: Trimming day—clean up your pieces and refine your shapes
• Week 4: Back to throwing with more intention and confidence
• Week 5: Final trimming and finishing touches before firing
• Week 6: Glaze day! Choose from Loopy Dough’s full glaze library and bring your pieces to life

Students may keep up to 5 finished pieces, all fired and glazed by the studio. $10 for each extra piece fired beyond the 6.

A quick note on the process: pottery has a mind of its own. While we guide you every step of the way, firing ceramics comes with some natural risk, and occasional cracks, warping, or breakage can happen. It’s all part of the magic (and mystery) of clay.

This is a small-group, encouraging, judgment-free space focused on learning, experimenting, and enjoying the process—not perfection.
