DESCRIPTION:The exciting and prestigious Worlds Championship Horse Show is held annually in conjunction with the Kentucky State Fair and crowns world champion Saddlebreds in different divisions. \nImportant Event Info: Because the Worlds Championship Horse Show takes place during the Kentucky State Fair\, both a Worlds Championship Horse Show event ticket along with a Kentucky State Fair admission ticket are required to attend. Children 2 and over require a ticket for the Horse Show\, children 6 and over require Kentucky State Fair admission. \nThe show attracts competitors from across the world and includes over 2\,000 horses competing for more than $1.5 million in awards determined by a panel of equestrian professionals. Horses compete in divisions including Three-Gaited\, Five-Gaited\, Fine Harness\, Saddlebred Pleasure\, Saddle Seat Equitation\, Hackney/Harness Ponies\, Roadster\, In-Hand\, and American Saddlebred. Each division includes several classes for amateurs\, ladies\, amateur ladies\, and junior exhibitors\, as well as younger horses and ponies. \nHorses or riders who win earn the title of worlds champion (abbreviated WC). A second-place finish is given the title of reserve worlds champion (RWC).
