SUMMARY:Dropkick Murphys For The People... In the Pit St. Patrick's Day 2026 Tour
DESCRIPTION:Dropkick Murphys proudly remain Boston’s rock ‘n’ roll underdogs turned champions. Since 1996\, the boys have created the kind of music that’s meant to be chanted at last call\, in packed arenas\, and during the fourth quarter\, third period\, or ninth inning of a comeback rally. Their celebrated discography includes four consecutive Billboard top 10 album debuts (Turn Up That Dial\, 11 Short Stories Of Pain & Glory\, Signed and Sealed in Blood\, Going Out In Style)\, along with 2005’s Certified-Gold album The Warrior’s Code featuring the double platinum classic “I’m Shipping Up To Boston.” \nDropkick Murphys’ music has generated half-a-billion streams\, they’ve quietly moved 8 million-plus units worldwide and the band has sold out gigs on multiple continents. \nDropkick Murphys’ new album For The People rises to its moment: an expression of humanity at a time of relentless dehumanization\, a promise of hope in an era fueled by fear-mongering\, a declaration of solidarity in an age of disunion\, a defiant rebuttal to the charlatans and demagogues who seek to divide us for their own power and profit. \n  \n  \n**description from website

SUMMARY:Pink Talking Fish: A Fusion of Pink Floyd\, Talking Heads and Phish
DESCRIPTION:Pink Talking Fish is a Hybrid Tribute Fusion Act that takes the music from three of the world’s most beloved bands and creates a special treat for fans of the music. \nPink Floyd\, Talking Heads and Phish are all more than just bands… they are Phenomenons. Their creations have artistically inspired people and their mind-blowing live performances have brought people together to form a sense of community around the love for their favorite bands. \nAlthough the music from each act is different\, Pink Talking Fish has discovered that fusing the material together writes an amazing new story. The epic emotion of Pink Floyd… The funky\, danceable layerings of Talking Heads… The multitude of styles\, unique compositional structures and pure fun of Phish… to merge these three acts into one gives music lovers an experience like no other. \nPink Talking Fish features Eric Gould on bass\, Richard James/Stephen Learson on keyboards\, Zack Burwick on drums and Cal Kehoe on guitar. This is a band created by musicians who love the music of these iconic bands. Its purpose is to heighten people’s passion for this music by creating something fresh and exciting for fans. \nDiscovering connections is part of the fun: Pink Floyd’s “On The Run” seamlessly fitting in the middle of the composition of Phish’s “You Enjoy Myself”. Perfectly placing Phish’s “Sand” into the groove of Talking Head’s “Slippery People”. Segued collections from all three acts such as Run Like Hell > Making Flippy Floppy > Piper > Run Like Hell or Mike’s Song > Have A Cigar > Once In A Lifetime > Weekapaug Groove. These ideas are the spirit behind Pink Talking Fish. \nThe story is ever evolving. The experience is always thrilling. No two shows are ever the same. \nCome join Pink Talking Fish for the ultimate fusion tribute and celebrate the love of this music in unmatched fashion. \n\nAges 18 and up\nSunday\, March 15\nDoors: 7 pm // Show: 8 pm\n$28.90

SUMMARY:91.9 WFPK Presents moe. | Born To Fly Tour
DESCRIPTION:Thirty-five years ago\, a posse of University of Buffalo-based musician-friends got together to play music. Out of freewheeling sessions bursting with bold\, genre-defying creativity and tongue-in-cheek humor\, a 6-headed monster named moe. emerged. \nDecades later\, moe.’s tireless work ethic\, DIY resourcefulness\, infectious songwriting\, and highly-engaged fanbase—the Famoe.ly—have enabled the sextet to earn a successful career. Yet\, the guys have never rested on their lau-rels as “jam band pioneers.” They average 100 shows per year\, and regularly release vital new music\, including the band’s latest album\, Circle of Giants (ATO)\, its 13th release. \nCircle of Giants was almost all tracked when bassist/vocalist Rob Derhak’s 25-year-old son died tragically\, but it’s no downer. Visceral and vulnerable\, the 10-collection confronts life’s challenges with grace\, humor\, hard-fought wisdom\, and jaw-dropping musicality. Creatively-invigorated by the addition of keyboardist Nate Wilson to the full-time lineup\, moe. has created a milestone album while processing an unfathomable loss. \nmoe. is a brotherhood\, featuring Derhak\, Schnier\, guitarist/vocalist Chuck Garvey\, drummer Vinnie Amico\, percussionist/vibraphonist Jim Loughlin\, and keyboardist Nate Wilson. The six-piece band came up in the primordial pouch of the early jam band scene\, alongside Blues Traveler\, Spin Doctors\, Widespread Panic\, and Phish. \nLauded by American Songwriter for its “mind-bending musicality\,” moe. Is beloved for its sonic adventurousness\, unbridled showmanship\, and its witty and insightful songwriting. NYS Music has said: “moe. has redefined what’s possible within the genre\, leaving a lasting impact and challenging listeners to rethink the limits of musical expression.” \nSince releasing its foundational album\, Fatboy\, in 1992\, moe. has issued a vast and varied series of now-classic records. Select studio album highlights include 1998’s Tin Cans & Car Tires; 2004’s Wormwood; 2007’s The Conch (which reached #1 on Billboard’s “Heatseekers” chart); and 2012’s critically-acclaimed What Happened To The La Las. \n**Description from website

SUMMARY:Brown-Forman Midnite Ramble Series presents Rhiannon Giddens
DESCRIPTION:Rhiannon Giddens has made a singular\, iconic career out of stretching her brand of folk music\, with its miles-deep historical roots and contemporary sensibilities\, into just about every field imaginable. A two-time GRAMMY Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning singer and instrumentalist\, MacArthur “Genius” grant recipient\, and composer of opera\, ballet\, and film\, Giddens has centered her work around the mission of lifting up people whose contributions to American musical history have previously been overlooked or erased\, and advocating for a more accurate understanding of the country’s musical origins through art. \nAs Pitchfork once said\, “few artists are so fearless and so ravenous in their exploration”—a journey that has led to NPR naming her one of its 25 Most Influential Women Musicians of the 21st Century and to American Songwriter calling her “one of the most important musical minds currently walking the planet.” \nhttps://www.outermostagency.com/rhiannon-giddens \n***description from website

SUMMARY:Ethel Cain: The Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour
DESCRIPTION:Iroquois Amphitheater welcomes Ethel Cain on the Louisville stop of her “The Willoughby Tucker Forever Tour” on Wednesday\, April 29th with support from 9million. \nEthel Cain is the creation of Florida-born multidisciplinary artist Hayden Anhedönia. SUMMARY:Liz Cooper show
DESCRIPTION:The thing about finding yourself is there’s always another corner to turn. The Vermont-based singer/songwriter Liz Cooper made her third album during a period of intense self-discovery and reinvention. \nShe moved to New York for the first time\, weathered a pandemic\, came out to herself after falling in love with a friend\, and experienced her first queer relationship and breakup\, all in the course of a few years. \nNew Day marks both a personal and a musical revolution for Cooper – a plunge into psychedelic pop depths and a fullhearted reflection of a whirlwind chapter in her life. \nThese songs scintillate with the kind of self-confidence that only beams through after you’ve aimed a sharp gaze inward and realized that whatever you see will always keep darting ahead of you. \n\nAges 18 and up\nSaturday\, May 02\nDoors: 7 pm // Show: 8 pm\n$25.90
