Along with the warmer weather comes what many animal welfare organizations refer to as “kitten season.” \nKitten season begins in early spring and ends in fall\, and it is when the greatest number of kittens are born. \nDuring this time period\, the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) becomes flooded with litters of young kittens needing life-saving care. \nWhile kittens are adorable and fun\, the sheer number of kittens turned in overwhelms the shelter and can leave KHS very short on supplies and foster caregivers. \nTo help get kitten season started out on the right paw and prepare for the little arrivals\, Purrfect Day Cat Café Louisville is throwing KHS our Annual Kitten Shower! \nThe kitten shower will be held April 24-27 at Purrfect Day Cat Café. During the shower\, the public is encouraged to bring much-needed kitten supplies to the café to help KHS care for their little ones.
