SUMMARY:Chaos\, Cupcakes & Caffeine: The Frosting Games
DESCRIPTION:Decorate cupcakes. Drink caffeine. Survive the roast. Includes 4 themed cupcakes + unlimited roasting. It’s not a class—it’s an experience. \n\nWHO: You. Yes—you. The tribute who hasn’t had a night out in three months and is hoping frosting will fix everything. Ages 18+ only. The arena cannot support multiple tantrum demographics.\nWHAT: A cupcake decorating “class.” By which we mean: an arena. You’ll be sorted into sectors\, given wildly uneven supplies\, and told to make it work. There may be guidance. There will be judgment. Only one cupcake reigns supreme.\nWHEN: Friday\, April 17th 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM Ninety minutes of strategic chaos\, shifting alliances\, and questionable piping choices. Any longer and the caffeine becomes a liability.\nWHERE: The Train Depot at 2230 Buechel Ave We aren’t exactly sure why The Train Depot agreed to this. Bold move on their part. (A train depot is a place where historically\, people have fled their problems. Fitting.)\nWHY: Because therapy is expensive. Because competition gives meaning. Because you crave validation from strangers and buttercream. Because your inner child wants sprinkles—and your inner adult wants to win.\nHOW: Buy a ticket. Enter the arena. Trust no one. You’ll be sorted into sectors\, issued supplies\, and forced to decorate under pressure. Some tributes may receive sponsor gifts. Others will receive… character development.\n\nCHAOS\, CUPCAKES & CAFFEINE: THE FROSTING GAMES \n\nCupcake decorating for the emotionally unstable and over-caffeinated. It’s not a class. It’s a survival experience.\nYou’ll laugh\, you might cry\, and you’ll leave bonded to your fellow tributes in a very “we survived this” way.\n\n

SUMMARY:Brown-Forman Midnite Ramble Series presents Rhiannon Giddens
DESCRIPTION:Rhiannon Giddens has made a singular\, iconic career out of stretching her brand of folk music\, with its miles-deep historical roots and contemporary sensibilities\, into just about every field imaginable. A two-time GRAMMY Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning singer and instrumentalist\, MacArthur “Genius” grant recipient\, and composer of opera\, ballet\, and film\, Giddens has centered her work around the mission of lifting up people whose contributions to American musical history have previously been overlooked or erased\, and advocating for a more accurate understanding of the country’s musical origins through art. \nAs Pitchfork once said\, “few artists are so fearless and so ravenous in their exploration”—a journey that has led to NPR naming her one of its 25 Most Influential Women Musicians of the 21st Century and to American Songwriter calling her “one of the most important musical minds currently walking the planet.” \nhttps://www.outermostagency.com/rhiannon-giddens \n***description from website
