Just bring yourself and an apron if you’d like one. \nWe meet once a week for 2 hours\, with each week building on the last: \n\nWeek 1: Studio intro\, clay prep\, and wheel demo—meet the wheel and make your first forms\nWeek 2: More wheel time! Practice\, repetition\, and getting comfy throwing\nWeek 3: Trimming day—clean up your pieces and refine your shapes\nWeek 4: Back to throwing with more intention and confidence\nWeek 5: Final trimming and finishing touches before firing\nWeek 6: Glaze day! DESCRIPTION:Director/writer/comedian/actor Jay Chandrasekhar has contributed and appeared in a wide variety of critically acclaimed television programs and films throughout his career. \nAfter graduating\, Chandrasekhar and his classmates from Colgate University formed Charred Goosebeak\, a sketch comedy group. Upon graduating\, the members of Charred Goosebeak changed their name to Broken Lizard and performed at comedy clubs and college campuses across the nation until the mid-90s\, when they set their sights on producing television and feature films. \nUnder his Broken Lizard banner\, Chandrasekhar directed\, co-wrote\, and starred in Fox Searchlight Picture’s comedy cult classics Super Troopers and the highly anticipated Super Troopers 2\, along with Club Dread\, and Warner Bros.’ Beerfest. He also directed the Broken Lizard comedy special\, Broken Lizard Stands Up. \nChandrasekhar’s book\, Mustache Shenanigans: Making Super Troopers and Other Adventures in Comedy gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Super Troopers and Super Troopers 2. \nIn 2005\, Chandrasekhar directed The Dukes of Hazzard\, a silver screen adaptation of the hit 1980’s television show for Warner Bros. which grossed over $111 million worldwide. In 2012 he directed and starred in Millennium Entertainment’s The Babymakers\, alongside Olivia Munn\, Paul Schneider\, Kevin Heffernan\, and Nat Faxon. He can also be seen in DreamWorks’ comedy hit\, I Love You\, Man opposite Paul Rudd and Jason Segel. \nIn 2014\, Chandrasekhar wrote\, directed and starred in the adult comedy pilot Really\, for Amazon Studios. Really follows the life of four hard-charging Chicago couples who are trying to hold on to their receding youth. The pilot stars Chandrasekhar\, Sarah Chalke\, Selma Blair\, Travis Schuldt and Hayes MacArthur. \nIn addition to his feature film work\, Chandrasekhar has directed various TV shows\, including several episodes of the Emmy Award-winning series Arrested Development\, Up All Night\, Happy Endings\, Community\, Royal Pains\, Blue Mountain State\, Psych\, Chuck\, Undeclared\, The Human Giant and more. \nChandrasekhar tours the country doing stand-up comedy and currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and children. \n  \n***description from LCC website

DESCRIPTION:See the cattle in their natural environment and get the opportunity to interact with them. One booking spot is for a group of 1 to 5 people will get hands on with a few of the tamer cows\, be able to feed them treats\, brush them\, take your own pics with them and we will teach you about their breed. \n\nUSE CODE “ThingsToLou10” to save $15 off your booking!\n\nChildren need to be at least 5 years old. \nWe will answer any questions you may have about their breed or how we care for them. You will get to see the herd and how they interact with each other. We have several colors and different ages of Highlands to see. Safety will be ensured during your visit as your group leader will show you how to interact with them. Please wear comfortable shoes that are suitable for the cattle pasture\, flip flops or sandals are not recommended. Depending on where on the farm the cattle are\, your visit may include a short walk to the next field over or a short gator ride to the pasture. There is a small chance that we could get rained out and if that happens we will work with everyone to reschedule the visits. We do have a clean porta potty available. \n5 people max in a group. \nNo refunds will be given once booked\, but if you give us 24 hrs notice if something should come up\, we can reschedule you. \nYou may bring apples or carrots\, fig bars\, white bread or horse treats to feed them snacks. They will love you for it! \nWe have logo merchandise for sale such as t shirts\, coffee mugs\, stickers\, hats\, highland cow stuffed animals and sweatshirts. We take cash\, Venmo or Paypal for the merchandise. \n$150 \n\nAbout TC Highlands Farm: \nWe raise registered Scottish Highland Cattle in Shelby County\, Kentucky. We strive to stay true to the breed and to raise quality cattle\, no mini’s here! We do a lot at the farm including showing in AHCA sanctioned shows and of course agritourism when we aren’t breeding and calving. We are excited to share the breed we are so passionate about with you. \nWe hope to give you something different\, an experience you will remember! Pricing for visits to the farm is by the group\, not per person.
