SUMMARY:Annual Kitten Shower🐱
DESCRIPTION:Spring is in the air! Along with the warmer weather comes what many animal welfare organizations refer to as “kitten season.” Kitten season begins in early Spring and ends in Fall/Winter\, and it is when the greatest number of kittens are born. During this time period\, the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) becomes flooded with litters of young kittens needing life-saving care. While kittens are adorable and fun\, the sheer number of kittens turned in overwhelms the shelter and can leave KHS very short on supplies and foster caregivers. \nSave the date: April 25-26💙💚💛 \nThere will be many ways to help! \n😻Visit us the first 3 weeks in April and purchase tickets for our ameowzing raffle baskets (they will also be available online). \n😻Bring in or send in items off of our Amazon Wishlist. \n😻Come visit Dr. Matt McGlasson on Friday\, April 24 (details coming soon). \n😻Look for the upcoming “All In” initiative to help KHS raise funds for their ongoing\, lifesaving mission. We will have details soon – please follow us on social media. \n😻Finally\, please “share to care” on Facebook\, Instagram\, and TikTok. Even if it is a silly picture or a video of your time spent with us\, let’s get the word out that not only is the Purrfect Day Cafe great for both family outings as well as date nights\, but just coming in and visiting helps more than you know! \n  \n***description from Purrfect Day email newsletter \n  \n

SUMMARY:Tuesday Beginner Pottery Class (6 weeks)
DESCRIPTION:Six weeks to learn\, throw\, glaze\, and grow—take home up to 6 finished ceramic pieces. (4/21-5/26) \n\nWelcome to six weeks of clay-covered hands\, spinning wheels\, and creative fun at Loopy Dough. \nThis course is designed for beginners and returning students who want to slow down\, get a little messy\, and build real skills on the pottery wheel—no experience needed. \nAll materials are included (clay\, tools\, firings\, and glazes). Just bring yourself and an apron if you’d like one. \nWe meet once a week for 2 hours\, with each week building on the last: \n\nWeek 1: Studio intro\, clay prep\, and wheel demo—meet the wheel and make your first forms\nWeek 2: More wheel time! Practice\, repetition\, and getting comfy throwing\nWeek 3: Trimming day—clean up your pieces and refine your shapes\nWeek 4: Back to throwing with more intention and confidence\nWeek 5: Final trimming and finishing touches before firing\nWeek 6: Glaze day! Choose from Loopy Dough’s full glaze library and bring your pieces to life\n\n\nStudents may keep up to 5 finished pieces\, all fired and glazed by the studio. $10 for each extra piece fired beyond the 6. \nA quick note on the process: pottery has a mind of its own. While we guide you every step of the way\, firing ceramics comes with some natural risk\, and occasional cracks\, warping\, or breakage can happen. It’s all part of the magic (and mystery) of clay. \nThis is a small-group\, encouraging\, judgment-free space focused on learning\, experimenting\, and enjoying the process—not perfection. \nCome ready to play\, learn\, and fall a little in love with the wheel 💛🌀 \n
