SUMMARY:Panel Discussion: Museum of the Future (MuFu) @ 21c
DESCRIPTION:Please join 21c\, the University of Kentucky School of Architecture\, and the Southern California Institute of Architecture on Monday\, October 7th from 6-9pm for a panel discussion around our new exhibit “Museum of the Future\,” which examines the future role of the museum in society through innovative and even radical forms of architecture. Moderators and panelists include curators\, professors\, institutional directors\, and architects from Kentucky as well as across the country. \n> Monday Oct. 7\n> 6-9pm\n> 21c Museum Hotel\, Louisville\n> Cash bar and light bites available \nABOUT Museum of the Future \n21c Louisville is excited to exhibit “Museum of the Future” in partnership with the University of Kentucky School of Architecture and the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI_Arc). \nStemming from questions on how we conceive a ‘museum of the future’ and what future roles the museum will have in society\, this exhibition explores potential solutions for museums with growing collections that are too large to share with the public\, prompting the creation of innovative and even radical new forms of architecture that could be part museum\, part storage facility\, part event space\, and part community social space.

We just wanted to provide some more information for both days leading up to Ramen Fest. \n**BRING A COSTUME!!!** (preferably a clown or an alien) \nPlease carpool! Parking is very limited\, and the park will fill up fast. We want to have an amazing time\, but we also want to be respectful to the neighborhood and the community that lives here. (No parking on Second Street median.) \nPlease be respectful to the park and to others around you. \nWe encourage everyone to buy from your local artists at this festival. Support your local artists and musicians! Everyone vending and performing at this festival is a local artist or musician\, and buying from and supporting local vendors is the best way to support the local community. \nOur sponsors have all created unique activities and events within the festival. Community has been the heart of this event and our shows since the beginning\, so we encourage you to explore everything from @wiz.tits\, @my.scene.is.beautiful\, @kxdevents\, @wanderingtreehouse\, @prono1a\, @centerforneighborhoods \, @doublesevenrecords\, and @carvers.usa. \nWe will have food vendors for everyone. One food vendor we partnered with is @renshoku_ramen\, who recently experienced a fire. Local businesses need community support\, so if you want to help a local business recover\, consider buying from them this weekend. \n@wilderparklouisville is the biggest supporter of Ramen Fest by far. Believe it or not\, this event started with a house show. The neighbors showed up not only to support but also to party alongside each other for music and community. Donating to Wilder Park means donating to this event. \nFor this year’s Ramen Fest\, Wilder Park will have a booth explaining the community events they conduct for children and the neighborhood\, as well as handing out packs of ramen free of charge. Any leftover ramen will be donated. \nLast but not least\, thank you so much @robmolou all of this started because of this man and @centerforneighborhoods and wouldn’t be possible without them. \n  \n***Description from Instagram post
