But her nefarious goals slowly unfold as they delve deeper into the mystical fateful night. \nThey spend the evening together feasting on maqluba (a famous Palestinian dish layering vegetable\, meat\, and broth with rice\, which is then dramatically flipped over to reveal the tasty entrée)\, reading Turkish coffee grounds\, and coming to terms with past traumas. \nThe grandmother is played by the director’s mother and all crew on the film were local. Each event will also coincide with the release of a Barn8 Single Barrel from that evening’s distillery\, available in limited quantities only at Hermitage Farm. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or a novice in the kitchen\, we invite you to put your chili recipe to the test in this spirited competition.
