Focus on controlled movements as flamingos showcase the art of poise and balance nearby. \n\nWild Workout FAQ’s\n\nWhere will Wild Workouts be held? The Louisville Zoo at 1100 Trevilian Way\, Louisville\, KY 40213.\nWhere will I park? Parking for Wild Workouts will be in the main parking lot in front of the Zoo.\nWhere on Zoo grounds will the Wild Workouts be held? Each Wild Workout class will be held in different areas throughout the Zoo that are suitable for the type of workout being completed. All classes will meet on the Front Plaza of the Zoo\, just inside the entrance gates.\nWill I have to pay for parking? No\, parking is included with your class reservation fee.\nWhat time do the Wild Workouts start? Your class will begin promptly at 6:30 pm.\nWhat time should I arrive? Please arrive between 6:00 and 6:15 pm on the date of your reservation. At 6:15 pm your class warm-up will begin. At 6:30 pm the Zoo gates will close and no other admittance will be allowed.\nWhat if I will be late for my scheduled class? If you are late to your scheduled class you will not be permitted entrance. The Zoo will be closed for this special after-hours event and staff focus will be on the class. Please arrive between 6:00 and 6:15 pm.\nIf I miss a class will I have a chance to make it up? There will be no make-up dates for Wild Workouts.\nCan I get a refund of my registration fee? The workshop includes two classroom portions where topics covered include\, an introduction to birding\, tools for birding\, birding at home\, birding organizations\, and more. The course ends with a culminating birding walk to practice what you have learned in the classroom. \nFor the classroom sessions\, we recommend bringing a pen and notebook. Melnykovych is a graduate of Yale University\, holding a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biology and a Master of Forest Sciences from the Yale School of the Environment.
