Along with the warmer weather comes what many animal welfare organizations refer to as “kitten season.” Kitten season begins in early Spring and ends in Fall/Winter\, and it is when the greatest number of kittens are born. During this time period\, the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) becomes flooded with litters of young kittens needing life-saving care. While kittens are adorable and fun\, the sheer number of kittens turned in overwhelms the shelter and can leave KHS very short on supplies and foster caregivers. \nSave the date: April 25-26💙💚💛 \nThere will be many ways to help! \n😻Visit us the first 3 weeks in April and purchase tickets for our ameowzing raffle baskets (they will also be available online). \n😻Bring in or send in items off of our Amazon Wishlist. \n😻Come visit Dr. Matt McGlasson on Friday\, April 24 (details coming soon). \n😻Look for the upcoming “All In” initiative to help KHS raise funds for their ongoing\, lifesaving mission.
