Watterson Trail\, Louisville\, KY 40243 \nEvent Host:\nLouisville Youth Choir \nEvent Description / Other Info:\nLYC invites all to uplifting “A Christmas Festival Concert” Dec. 19\, featuring singers from 40 area schools \nPlease join the Louisville Youth Choir (LYC) with singers grades kindergarten through adult for LYC’s “A Christmas Festival Concert” at 7 p.m. on Friday\, December 19\, at the Middletown Christian Church\, 500 North Watterson Trail. \nHighlights of the uplifting\, community-minded concert will include:\n• Singers\, K-12\, from 40 regional schools across the Louisville area and Southern Indiana\n• Beautiful accompaniment from professional and youth guest instrumentalists\n• Caroling with audience participation\n• LYC adult alumni singers’ performance\n• Beloved Christmas classics\, such as “O Holy Night” blended with contemporary arrangements of “Lo\, how a rose e’er blooming” and Pachelbel’s “Canon in D”\n• LYC’s annual tradition of the evocative\, candlelit “Silent Night” in the round \nCONCERT TICKETS:\n($15 for adults\, $10 for seniors 55+\, and $5 for students): http://www.louyouthchoir.org/store \n\nLYC welcomes singers from every Metro District and surrounding counties in both Ky. and Southern Ind.\, with a program that complements school choirs and offers a city-wide auditioned youth choir to build confidence and hone vibrant\, diverse talent. \nLYC never turns a singer away because of inability to pay and offers scholarships and tuition assistance.
