DESCRIPTION:While we’re disappointed Thunder Over Louisville won’t go on this year\, we understand the decision given recent rainfall across the region. Our game against the Washington Spirit will still be played as scheduled at 5 p.m. Saturday\, April 12. \nGates to Lynn Family Stadium will open at 3:30 p.m. for a $2 happy hour featuring beer and Pepsi products at bars around the concourse. We encourage the community to still join us and cheer on Racing as the team enters off its first victory of the season! \n**Update above from website \n\n  \n**UPDATE – Thunder Over Louisville has been cancelled — but the soccer game will still go on. \nTickets are on sale now for Thunder at Lynn Family Stadium — and fans are encouraged to act fast. \nA club-record 11\,365 attended last year’s Racing Louisville FC pro soccer game\, air show and fireworks display. Another large crowd is expected Saturday\, April 12\, at the Butchertown neighborhood venue with tickets providing stadium access — including restrooms and concessions — throughout all the day’s events. \nTickets start at just $25. Fans can purchase below or call (502) 568-2489 to reach a ticket representative. \nAs a Kentucky Derby Festival event\, Thunder at Lynn Family Stadium will also serve as the festival’s Official Thunder Tailgate spot in 2025. Lots will open at 7 a.m. Stadium gates follow at 1 p.m. leading up to a 5 p.m. kickoff between the National Women’s Soccer League’s Racing Louisville and the Washington Spirit\, who feature U.S. national team star Trinity Rodman. \nThunder day ticket holders will receive a wristband allowing for reentry. Seating will be reserved for the Racing Louisville game before fans are permitted to move throughout the stadium to scope out their favorite vantage point for the fireworks. The show is highly visible from Lynn Family Stadium\, which is also located steps from Waterfront Park. \nFans are advised to read over Lynn Family Stadium’s A to Z guide for questions and answers related to the venue\, located at 350 Adams Street in Louisville’s Butchertown neighborhood.
