If you’re visiting Louisville for the first time or just want to explore your own city, Nulu is an energetic, walkable neighborhood you should check out!
The best way to start; snag a coffee.

Please & Thank You at 800 E. Market Street is a great place to begin your day. Grab a coffee, a seasonal specialty drink, and one of their world-famous chocolate chip cookies. Enjoy rock music on the antique jukebox.
Another nearby place to get your caffeine fix is Quill’s Coffee at 802 E. Main Street.

Quill’s roasts their own coffee and has a great (dog-friendly) patio. A great place to meet someone for a hang-out or work on your laptop.
Now it’s time to shop.
Within a 2 to 3 block area, Nulu boasts a number of great places to get your spend on.
Head to Peace of the Earth (801 E. Market St.) for handmade, fair-trade, eco-friendly products.

Pop into Woman-Owned Wallet, (803 E. Market St.) where you can shop all woman-owned brands.

Peruse Revelry Boutique + Gallery (742 E. Market St.) to find art and goods from local Louisville artists and makers.

Head to Mahonia (822 E. Market St.) to enjoy their lush selection of plants, air plants, and terrariums.

The Dog Shop is a great place to find treats, outfits, toys, leashes and more for your pup (and a great photo opp).

You’ve got arms full of a great stuff. Time to finish the day with dinner and drinks.
Bar Vetti has great Italian food and cocktails. Make a mental note you’ve got to come back for a date night.

The AC Lounge inside the AC Hotel has a wonderful bourbon-forward cocktail menu.

The Local Seltzery is Louisville’s only seltzer bar, but they also serve cocktail, local beer and snacks. Also, check out “Pups on the Patio” every Sunday. Bring your pup to hang out on their dog-friendly patio.

Galaxie has amazing sips and a fun menu. Remember to try their speciality; the wakataka!

Bonus: during the winter months, Galaxie transforms into Miracle on Market; a Christmas-themed bar with wintery cocktails!
