It goes without saying Louisville, Kentucky has a lot of great bars and restaurants featuring wonderful cocktails.
This month is a great opportunity to try spots that offer nonalcoholic options. Whether you prefer a spirit-free / mocktail or want to explore other NA options, we’ve got you covered! Just because you’re in bourbon country, doesn’t mean you can’t have an NA option sometimes!
In this post I’d like to feature some of my favorites, as well as some that were submitted by fans of ThingsToLou.
There are a number of unforgettable bars and restaurants in Louisville, KY that offer mocktail menus during this month.
First up is The Merryweather (1101 Lydia Street, Louisville, KY 40217), which just launched a new mocktail menu this month, featuring tea, ghia, and coffee based spirit-free creations!
If you haven’t tried Sis Got Tea (976 Barret Avenue, Louisville, KY 40204), this is a wonderful Black-owned, queer-owned space that offers coffee and tea options as well as a calm, inclusive space.
If you’re looking for more opportunities to explore alcohol-free options I’d also like to point you to my friend Jesse Hawkins, founder of the Mocktail Project, and whose Instagram features numerous wonderful local places to go!
The Liquor Lab in Nulu Marketplace (823 E Market St STE 103, Louisville, KY 40206) also offers mocktail-making options year-round! I recently took a mocktail class here with Macey Marie!
NoRaeBar (717 E Market St, Louisville, KY 40202) in offers mocktail and non-alcoholic options you’re around, including nonalcoholic, cocktails and kombucha on tap!
The Local Seltzery (828 East Main St, Louisville, KY 40206) in the Nulu Marketplace features alcoholic seltzer’s on tap, as well as non-alcoholic versions of all of their seltzers. This is a gorgeous spot to hang out either with friends or on a date. Check out their dog-friendly patio space or their are mezzanine sitting area!
Seven Bourbon & Cocktails (815 E Market St Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40206) offers an extensive and creative cocktail menu. That interest in innovation extends to their mocktail options.
You can’t miss the gorgeous speakeasy and bar at Gertie’s Whiskey Bar (821 E Market St Suite 101, Louisville, KY 40206) — it’s amazing. They’ve also got a lovely spirit-less menu perfect for Dry January.
