Castle & Key: Restoring Colonel Taylor’s Historic Distillery

Since 1887, Kentucky’s Old Taylor Distillery has been a significant part of bourbon history. Closed during Prohibition, it was restored in 2012 and renamed Castle & Key. The distillery, now operating with a focus on hospitality, released its first aged spirit in 2020 and continues Colonel Taylor’s vision with local sourcing and unique visitor experiences.
