Delta’s Mint Julep Experience for Derby Travelers
The “Run for the Roses” officially begins long before the bugle sounds at Churchill Downs as Delta turns the journey to Louisville (SDF) into a curated Derby experience.
In partnership with Brown-Forman, Delta is bringing the track’s signature spirit to the skies. From May 1–2, travelers in the Atlanta (ATL) and New York (JFK) Delta Sky Clubs can grab a bespoke Mint Julep syrup.
Once onboard, they can pair it with Woodford Reserve to craft an authentic Derby cocktail mid-flight.
To celebrate the weekend, Delta is also:
- Ponying Up: Operating its largest-ever SDF schedule with nonstop service from 10 cities, including new routes from Austin (AUS) and Raleigh-Durham (RDU)
- Themed Touches: Surprising travelers with arrival and departure goody bags (April 30 & May 3) at SDF
- Race-Day Style: Trading traditional uniforms for race-day flair, with crew members donning fascinators to close out the weekend
