Join Kentucky Author Forum for a unique conversation between Erik Larson and Nathaniel Philbrick, two authors who share a special interest in Civil War politics.
Larson will discuss his book “The Demon of Unrest”, which uncovers the chaotic period between Abraham Lincoln’s election in November 1860 and the attack on Fort Sumter in April 1861.
Philbrick will present his latest book, “The Rush”, to be released in October, which chronicle’s California’s Gold Rush and it’s lasting impact that contributed to the Civil War.
